How I got here:
It's been real! At a pretty early age I had to learn to navigate grief, PTSD and anxiety. Everything I've learned in the time since has shown me that everything in life does, in fact, happen for a reason and it is all continuing to happen for a reason. My life leading up to massage shaped me into someone that really understands what stress can do to the body and to the mind and to the spirit.
Nobody really ever mentioned that I should get a massage but it would have really helped me with so many things. That's why I really love doing this work because I see the difference that it makes in myself and others.
I graduated in 2016 from Gaston College with a Therapeutic Massage Diploma and an Associate's in General Studies. I have always been interested in psychology, so from massage school, onward and long before I've studied the mind body connection.
I choose to let this path teach me something new everyday. I combine several different modalities and incorporate them into a massage session that will truly benefit the client most. I take my time and listen to what you have to say about what you are experiencing, because YOU are the one who knows you best.
My ultimate goal is to help, whether that means alleviating general stress and tension or working with you after injury or surgery.
In my free time I love to be with my family and wonderful husband Brian, who is also an awesome massage therapist. We share our hearts and home with a calico cat named Ice Cream and Cookie Beagle.
